CGDI Wire vs Wireless vs Smart Remote Key

CGDI has also released a series of universal remote keys. How can we tell between these different types of keys? Here are some clues.

 

CGDI remote keys can be divided into 3 types:

Remote starts with C13– is the wired remote. Generating a brand-new wired remote will get 25 points.

Remote starts with C14- is the wireless remote. Generating a brand-new wireless remote will get 40 points.

Remote starts with C15- is the NXP smart remote. Generating a brand-new smart remote will get 60 points.

CGDI provides BMW, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Subaru, and Toyota types of smart remotes.

CG100X Great Wall Haval MB91F594BS Mileage Correction

Here we will demonstrate how to correct odometer of the new Great Wall Haval models. Taking a 2021 Haval H6 as an example, its instrument cluster is equipped with an MB91F594BS encrypted chip, and almost no devices can read the data from this encrypted chip.

Tool used: 

CG100X programmer

 

Instructions:

Record the original mileage.

Remove instrument cluster and disassemble.

Power on the instrument cluster according to the wiring diagram and give 12V power supply. Check if the dashboard is in good condition.

Verify the original mileage—the initial reading is 212,528 km, which matches the actual mileage.

Customer desired mileage: 62,068km.

In CG100X software, select Great Wall- Haval H6- MB91F594BS.

Device cannot read chip data directly so there is no wiring diagram for this cluster.

Connect the cluster with CG100X programmer via the CAN adapter and cable as following:

Then read mileage data with CG100X software.

Ensure that the data read by the software matches the data displayed on the instrument cluster.

The device does not have an automatic mileage adjustment algorithm—contact CG100 technical support to manually modify the mileage data.

During the mileage correction process, the instrument cluster screen going blank is normal.

Once the adjustment is complete, power on the cluster to check the new mileage data.

Install dashboard back to vehicle.

CG100X V1.8.5.0 Adds Toyota S6J3001 Mileage Correction by CAN

CGDI CG100X programmer released new software version V1.8.5.0 on May 28th, 2025. The new version adds more Toyota S6J3001 mileage correction models by CAN.

 

CG100X previously supported some models for odometer correction by soldering (here is an example), but now it has been upgraded to cover more vehicle models and supports CAN mode for odometer adjustment.

How to read and write Mercedes Sprinter W907 airbag ECU with CG100X programmer.

CG100X has a solution for this airbag ecu. Only read and write, need to edit data manually and write to SRS to reset crash data.

Select Programmer function. Search R7F701064 mcu.

Check wiring diagram.

Connect CG100X with airbag module via Pro V2 adapter. Don’t forget to connect 12V power supply to CG100X.

Read and save Dflash.

Read and save PFLASH.

Read and save OPBT0 data.

Then read and save BOOT data.

Edit/modify srs eeprom dflash data by tuners or 3rd party.

Write modified airbag dflash data back to the SRS module.

Reset airbag module successfully.
