CGDI Prog MB 2019 New Activation Guide

Users should download CGDI software and provide device Serial Number to activate the CGDI Prog MB in the past.  But now CGDI has changed the activation method.


How to activate CGDI MB key programmer?

1). Open CGDI MB software, select "Online Store" tab

2) The next screen will prompt device activation status. This device has not been activated.
Select service version: Basic version or Advanced version.
Basic Edition: 
Only 1 password calculation per day.
Activation will receive a free subscription service for 12 months, free renewal.
Advanced Edition:
Users enjoy 2 password calculations per day
Activation will receive a free subscription service for 6 months, renewal 50 yuan/month.

3). Select the version you desired. Press "Activate"
Note: Once select your version. It cannot be changed after activation. I.e The basic version cannot be changed to advanced version.

CGDI MB Renew Mercedes ECU CRD2.xx on bench

CGDI Prog MB Renew Mercedes ECU CRD2.xx virgin/reset on bench.

Remove ECU from car, and connect according to the software wiring diagram

(If the wiring is not clearly, you can check clear wiring connection in CGDI software.)

Open CGDI MB software, select Auto computer and Read module information

 Calculate erase password online

 Get erase password success

 Press Erase

 CRD 2.xx ECU renew succeed.

Mercedes Benz A166 copy key without key using CGDI Prog MB key programmer.

Choose Lock(EIS)

Click Read EIS data, Choose Compute Password

Choose Copy key without key, click Collect Data

prepare for collecting data，don’t operate in random！

Click upload data, .open the data just saved

Upload data successfully

Query password

Wait 2 minutes please，query successfully

Display password, click ‘copy’

Choose to enter EIS

Please saved by default setting

Save EIS data successfully. Select Generate EE

Load EIS File

Choose the EIS data saved by last step

Load EIS file successfully，click ‘ Generate key File’

Generating the key file，please wait ……

The key file was generated successfully，Please saved by default setting！

save the file successfully, select Read/Write key

Please inser the new key into the CGDI Prog

Click Open/Write

Follow the software instruction to choose and operate

Choose unused key file

The key data is writing in，please wait……

Write success

Read key information and save it
