How to Activate CG FC200 when License Expires?

 How to activate CG FC200 software if software update subscription license expires?
 

If software license expires, users cannot activate it online. 

Follow steps below to activate FC200 software.
Open online store icon, press this icon several times.
 

Then exit and run FC200 software again.
If says network abnormal, change to a more stable network connection.

The software has been activated again.

CGDI BMW BootLoader Does not Match Solution

 Someone had this before ? Need to program icm with CGDI Prog BMW. It says "Bootloader does not match and cannot be programmed"

Solved it came back to life when whit battery reset afterwards all was OK

How to Change CG FC200 Software Language?

 Question:

My CG FC200 programmer software is in Chinese. How to change language to English?

Solution:

Go to Setting-> Select language you desired and Apply

English, French, Simplified Chinese (Spanish, Polish, Turkish and Traditional Chinese  requires authorization)

CG FC200 Clone BMW MEVD17.2.5 ECU

Test BMW F30 316i N13 engine with ICOM ISTA. ISTA gives faulty DME with Valvetronic and ignition and injection relay faults. DME is damaged. I need to replace and clone a new DME.

Original car DME part number is 8638198 while the donor is 7636292.

CG FC200 is really good on BMW ecu cloning.

 

Step 1: Read Original ECU Dflash & Pflash

Run CG FC200, select BMW 3 Series F30 316i- Bosch MEVD17.2.5 TC1797 N13 engine
Select Platform, check wiring diagram

Connect original MEVD17.5 DME with fc200 via wiring harness

Identify ecu info and read ISN

Copy ISN to a notepad
Read Dflash and save
read dflash very fast

Read pflash and save backup

Step 2: Read Donor ECU Dflash & Pflash

Connect donor DME with FC200 follow the same wiring diagram

read ISN of the donor ecu
paste the ISN to the notepad

Read and save donor ECU Dflash

Read & save donor ECU Pflash

Step 3: Write pflash to donor ECU

Select Write Flash

Upload original Pflash and write

Auto checksum online

Write data successfully

 

Step 4: Verify data

Read donor ecu information and ISN again

The ISN is the same with original ISN

Read Dflash and Pflash and save again

Verify dflash and pflash data with Hexcmp.

Install the donor ECU back into vehicle.

Done.

CG FC-200 Read & Write PSA EDC17C60 Success

It is a rumor that the new CG FC200 ecu programmer will not do checksum correction. It does do checksum but requires network connection online and within software subscription period.

This programmer is dedicated to the new generation ECU where it covers 99% of the Bosch brand and in development on other ECU brands.

One of the fc200 users has tested on PSA Citroen Air cross 2018 EDC17C60, read and write no problem, automatic checksum correction.

It’s necessary to have an internet connection before starting.

You need also an external power supply 12 volt at 2 amps, it’s enough and see what is capable to do this one.

Run fc200 software, select Bosch EDC17C60 TC1793, check wiring diagram

Set up bench connection between FC200, ECU and computer according to the diagram

Identify ecu information

Read Dflash

Read dflash super fast, save data

Read Pflash

Pflash reading takes longer.

Save data once completed

Then modify pflash. The user modified dump from Flash to show that it does automatic checksum correction.

Press Write Pflash

Upload the modified pflash data

Press Yes to start checksum correction

Checksum correction is done. Write data successfully.  The user was really happy with the cg fc200 programmer.

It never disappoints him.
