CG100X Toyota Camry R7F701406 Mileage Correction Guide

CGDI CG100X programmer is good for newer Toyota with R7F and S6J cluster odometer correction. We explained how to change km on S6J cluster previously.

 

Today we will show how to correct mileage for Toyota Camry MY2018- with an R7F701406 processor.

 

Model example:

Toyota Camry 2019

 

Tools used:

CG CG100X Programmer

35X- CAN Adapter

 

 

Purpose:

The original cluster is damaged and cannot communicate. Buy a new dashboard to replace it, but the mileage is too high. It needs to change km to the same as the original.

 

The original car km (desired mileage): 35123km

The new dashboard km: 75861km

 

Remove dashboard and disassemble it

Chip type: With the R7F701406 BGA chip

Run CG100X software

Select Dashboard>> Asian car>> TOYOTA>> CARMY>> 2018- R7F701406 (CAN)

Check the wiring diagram

There are 5 cables need to be connected. (CAN-H, CAN-L, GND, +12V)

If you don’t distinguish the cable in color, check the corresponding cable name in the CAN cable.

Connect 35X-CAN Adapter to dashboard via the CAN cable, and connect to CG100X

After connection, click “Start operation”

Read and backup the original data

Confirm the current km identified, and input new KM to be modified

No need to click “write”

Mileage correction successfully

Finally, disconnect the device and supply power to test the dashboard, now the mileage is the same as the original dashboard.

Put dashboard back to vehicle.

Done.
