It is Mercedes Benz B Class 246 and CLA 2017. This one is the original one we need to read the software files from this unit and write to a new one.
In CG FC200, choose Mercedes and type FDCT, select MB Getrag VGS FDCT TC1766 first generation and Platform mode.
Check wiring diagram.
NOTE Ground must be connected on the TCU's cover.
I will neglect that because we have here two can wires can high and can low and
power and ground. If we look on a factory connector, the lower two are CAN wires and power and here is ground.
I connect everything also the power supply to the FC200.
Identify ECU.
Read ID ok.
Read and save Dflash
Read and save EXT Dflash
Read and save Pflash
Read Pflash takes longer, we have to wait a little bit for the Pflash because it is very big file.
Back up original data successfully.
Then connect to the second TCU (donor ECU).
Read ID. It excellent seems to be the same processor TC176..
I have successfully cloned this computer with fc200 and everything went okay
but the thing that you have to follow is to get the correct replacement TCM everythin should be the same I mean uh the same processor internally inside the TCU itself.
Read all data Dflash, external Dflash and Pflash of the donor ECU as backup.
Then write Pflash, EXT Dflash and Pflash to the donor ECU.
writing is going faster because it's already skipping the same partition.
Then install gearbox to vehicle.
