CG FC200 ECU programmer software V1.2.3.0 adds Volkswagen ECU mileage repair function for Bosch MED17.5.25, ME17.5.22, MED17.1.27 ECUs. Here is a demo guide on VW MED17.5.25 ECU mileage correction by FC200.
It is a 2015 VW Sagitar with Bosch ECU MED17.5.25.
Original mileage: 179200 km.
Run CG FC200 software.
Select VW- Bosch MED17.5.25 TC1782- Platform mode
Check wiring diagram. There are two versions of pinouts.
According to wiring, we need to connec 7 wires, 2x RED 12V, GND, CAN-H, CAN-L, GPT-1 and GPT-0.
Connect ECU with FC200.
Identify ECU.
Read Dflash.
Save Original Dflash data.
Go back and select VW- Bosch MED17.5.25 TC1782- Data Process
Select ECU Mileage Repair Function->MED17.5.25 ECU
Load Dflash. Uploaded original Dflash data just read by FC200.
FC200 will detect original mileage. It is very close to the actual original mileage.
Input new mileage you desired.
Save new mileage data.
Go back and select ECU.
Identify and write Dflash.
Select new mileage data. Confirm to write data. Make sure you have backed up the original data (we have done this).
Write Dflash data successfully.
