How to read and write to repair Audi rear tailgate module using CG100X.
Symptoms: electric rear tailgate malfunction
Common Models: Audi A6 C7, A8 D4, A7
Common causes:
Most likely, the fault is in an electronic ( computerized ) module that controls these motors and associated sensors. Audi rear tailgate issues are often caused by water damage to the module, faulty latch sensors, or damaged wiring harness.
Repair: repair the tailgate module processor MCU (Renesas D70F3373)
Device used: CG100X programmer
Instruction:
Remove and disassemble the Audi rear tailgate module.
This is the processor MCU: D70F3373.
Follow this pinout/wiring diagram to connect module with CG100X programmer via MCU cable.
NOTE: One section needs to be cut off, and after the repair is done, it needs to be welded back in place.
In CG100X software, go to Programmer function. Search D70F3373
Read and save original Pflash and Dflash data.
Modified the Pflash and Dflash data manually.
Then write the modified Dflash and Pflash back to the tailgate module.
Then install the tailgate module back to vehicle.
