CG100X Change Toyota S6J3001 Cluster Mileage via CAN Mode

CG100X software V1.8.5.0 adds Toyota 2019- S6J3001 cluster mileage correction by CAN mode (check the supported car list). Here we will show how to change mileage for S6J3001 cluster using 35XX CAN dapter via CAN mode without soldering.

2022 Toyota Granvia

The same procedure goes to other Toyota models with S6J3001 cluster

Original mileage: 56,435km

Device required:

CG100X programmer

35xx CAN adapter (included in the package)

Network connection.

 

Procedure:

Go to mileage function. Select Aisa- Toyota- Granvia- S6J3001 CAN

This function requires the 35XX CAN adapter.

There are two types of clusters. Check which one matches with your cluster.

Here the Grevia cluster is the same as the type 1.

Check the type 1 CAN wiring diagram.

Connect the cluster via 35XX CAN adapter.

The connection is easy. Only 4 wires to connect, 12V, CAN H, CAN L and GND.

Then connect 35xx CAN adapter with CG100X programmer.

Read chip and save eeprom.

CG100X will detect original mileage data.

Input new km you desire.

Start to write new mileage. CG100X has a built-in algorithm that can write mileage online. Don’t disconnect device and adapter during the progress.

Mileage correction is completed.

Check the mileage in the cluster. It’s the same value as in software.
