Problem:
Tried to read BMW 6HP gearbox with CG FC200 prorammer but the device will not communicate with the TCU. Any solution?
Possible solutions:
1. Direct connect with fc200 wiring. Try both with or without 120ohm between CAN L and CAN H.
2. Or use the Godiag GT107 gearbox adapter.
If still not working, there are 2 different types of 6HP, one with Tri-core MCU (TC1766, FC200 works) and the other 1st Gen has MPC5xxx MCU, old version hw is locked. FC200 doesn’t support it.
There are a few tools that do, OBDstar DC706, Yanhua ACDP (module 32), Autohex and a few others.
Only these devices can do BMW 6HP26 gearbox.
