How to copy a spare Vespa Motorcycle smart key using CGDI K2 key tool without disassembling the immo box.
No need for a vehicle.
Modern keyless Vespa models (such as recent GTS 300 and GTV 300 series) use a smart key fob and a physical mechanical/RFID emergency backup instead of a traditional ignition key.
Works on Vespa Leo Smart, Primavera, Sprint, GTS 300CC, LX125/S etc models with NCF29Ax 4A chip. 433MHz.
Requires adding a new or used original key. Add key ONLY. All keys lost is not supported.
Procedure:
Disable original key shell.
In CGDI K2, select MCU Programmer function.
Choose key chip type: NCF29A1.
Check wiring diagram.
Solder wires to the key circuit board using the cgdi k2 renew cable.
Read and save key chip data.
Then disassemble the new/used original key to be cloned.
Follow the same wiring diagram to solder renew cable to the key circuit board.
Select Write chip data.
Choose the original NCF29A1 chip data just saved.
CGDI K2 also allows you to modify the key ID to match with the original system.
Write key successfully. Clone a new key completed.
Reinstall the key shell. The new key is ready to use. Don’t need to be programmed in vehicle afterwards.
